Chromebooks are the latest addition to the PC world, but they’re quite different from their Windows and Mac cousins.

 Is this really an optimal way to blog, though?

Does blogging really suit this unique form of computer and software? Let’s look at the pros and cons so you can decide if it’s worth your time to experiment with Chromebooks for blogging purposes.

Choosing a Chromebook for Blogging.

Bloggers use their computers to write, edit and publish blog posts. 

Buying a Chromebook can make sense if you're seeking for a cost-effective choice.


Using a Chromebook can be less expensive than buying an expensive laptop, which is one of its advantages.

However, if you plan on installing Microsoft Office or other software onto your computer, then purchasing one with Windows could make more sense.

Buying a External Monitor.

When I was shopping for an external monitor, I kept in mind my work habits and needs as a blogger. 

1) Large enough to show both content and browser navigation in one view. 

Getting Comfortable with my writing Routine using Chromebook Os.

It's been about two weeks since I started my new blogspot-Blogging the Google Way. After taking notes and observing how to use Google products for two weeks, it was time to get comfortable with my writing routine on Chrome OS.

 The best thing about this browser is that it saves every document in your account automatically which makes accessing them from any device possible.

Finding Free Software’s to edit images on Chrome Os.

I found online that you can use blogspot as your website, so I downloaded it. I also discovered free software called Pixlr which is compatible with Chrome OS and lets me edit images right on my computer, so I decided to try it out. 

The Main limitation of Chrome OS & Google Docs.

The limitations of Chrome OS and Google Docs, its free apps that allow you to open, edit, create documents in Google Docs (Docs), Spreadsheets (Sheets) and Presentations (Slides).

They are currently unable to export .doc files and .ppt files like the Microsoft Word programs or Microsoft Powerpoint. The big limitation here is with the ability to export to PDF.
